Places of Worship Signs
Whether you are looking for lockable notice boards, traditional entrance signs or a more modern approach to your signage Shelley Signs are sensitive to the particular requirements of places of worship. Robert Shelley, as Treasurer of a small rural church in Shropshire understands the financial pressure associated with these decisions.

Artwork : Few Churches and other Places of Worship are able to supply their own artwork. Shelley offer an in-house design team and can undertake graphics and design from your outline sketches. We would provide an initial concept and then amend as many times as necessary until you are happy. In addition to signs we can help design leaflets and other publicity material.
Entrance Signs. Designs will commonly include a Welcome message, contact details and perhaps times of services. The contact details section is often produced as a changeable slide to allow for staff changes. As the photographs these can range from traditional style designs to a very modern, contemporary feel.
Notice Boards. Ideal for displaying your own temporary notices and publicity material. Notice boards for churches and normally hinged and lockable – they can be produced in oak, treated softwood or aluminium. Sometimes incorporated as part of the main entrance sign.
Directional & safety signs. All signs in churches should be as discreet and unobtrusive – and only installed if absolutely necessary. Sometimes directional and safety signs are required – a warning about dangerous steps being a typical example. Shelley can produce low key signs in either printed or timber.
Interpretation Panels. Many churches are involved in fund raising and consider the Heritage Lottery Fund for help. HLF assistance often comes with a demand for interpretation – with our expertise in this field Shelley can help design and produce subtle and cost effective interpretation and provide advice about website design.
Churches and Places of Worship need long term signs to promote their presence in the community and their day to day activities. They frequently have a need to display changeable graphics which can be achieved through lockable notice boards or pavement signs.
