Artwork for Church Signs
When commissioning church signs and notice boards, few churches and other places of worship are able to supply their own artwork. Shelley offer an in-house design team and can undertake graphics and design from your outline sketches. We would provide an initial concept and then amend it as many times as necessary until you are happy. In addition to signs, we can help design leaflets and other publicity material.
Entrance Signs for Churches
The design for church signs & notice boards will commonly include a welcome message, contact details and perhaps times of services. The contact details section is often produced as a changeable slide to allow for staff changes.
As you can see from the church sign gallery below, these can range from traditional style designs to a very modern, contemporary feel.

Aluminium Noticeboards

Church Sign/Notice Board Combinations
We often supply integral units with both a notice board and a permanent printed church sign. This is a popular solution addressing the needs of long-term graphics with short-term displays.
Directional & Safety Signs
All signs in churches should be as discreet and unobtrusive – and only installed if absolutely necessary. Sometimes directional and safety signs are required – a warning about dangerous steps being a typical example. Shelley can produce low-key signs in either printed or timber.
Interpretation Panels
Many churches are involved in fundraising and consider the Heritage Lottery Fund for help. HLF assistance often comes with a demand for interpretation – with our expertise in this field Shelley can help design and produce subtle and cost-effective interpretation and provide advice about website design.
Places of worship need long-term signs to promote their presence in the community and their day-to-day activities. They frequently have a need to display changeable graphics which can be achieved through lockable notice boards or pavement signs.
